Audition Masterclass: Mock Musical Theater Audition
Experience what it’s like to step into a real musical theater audition in this hands-on masterclass. Participants should prepare a 32-bar cut of a song they would bring to a musical theater audition. Your accompaniment track must be emailed to kayla@perryryantheater.com at least 48 hours before the class, and it should already be edited to the exact measures you plan to perform.
The class will accept up to 15 participants. We will do our best to hear as many performers as possible, but being seen is not guaranteed due to time constraints. That said, observing the process and feedback can be just as valuable.
Participants who perform will present their piece in a mock audition format and receive feedback from Scotty Scott and Kayla Grizzard, with time dedicated to workshopping selections so performers leave better prepared for real-life auditions.
